2 contacted me. One of my ex's is my best friend/maid of honor's cousin. So of course she sees him and rubs in his face how happy i am and that i am getting married and she's my MOH and she just really gave it to him (he cheated on me, we broke up and he thought we would get back together some day. LOSER) so he emails me asking if this is all true. i told him it sure as hell is and he is a jerk.
i had one ex call me out of nowhere. i havent spoken to him in so long and i get a call from him and when i told him i was engaged he was in shock. he thought i was kidding.
what is it with ex's, do they think that we are going to sit around and wait for them to come back into our lives??? do they think we'll never date again and get married.

I had one call to say congratulations - he heard through a mutual friend. He was miserable when we dated and he was miserable when he called. I did think it was nice that he called though.

I ran into my ex fiancee about a month after we got engaged , my FH was like he looks like a weasel! Dangle your hand so he can see it! I was with him for 7 years and he cheated on me, so I was like Good riddiance to bad rubbish! That day we ran into him , he could not stop staring at me. He was with his wife, his inlaws and his mom and dad at a restaurant! He has gotten married and I heard they are having martial problems and she left him for a while. He was a complete psycho with me for awhile, and did weird things like a baby , calling and hanging up etc. We have also ran into his ex girlfriend twice !

Since we've gotten engaged, my ex that introduced us to each other has started inviting us to his house for his kids birthday parties and cr@p like that -- he's married w/ 2 kids but we didn't see him for the first 3 years we were together until a mutual friend celebrated a birthday and then there we all were like one big happy dysfunctional family!
But his stupid weasel ex-girlfriend, who used to show her ugly face here and there before we got engaged has crawled back under whatever rock she came from and is hanging her head in self pity because we're getting married! Mutual friends can be so difficult to deal with!

I got an e-mail from my d**khead of an ex. He said he had had a dream about me, woke up in a cold sweat and had to come clean that he cheated on me throughout our whole relationship I was going out with him for 5 years!!! And that now he has a girlfriend and is very happy with her yada yada yada! Yeah right, it's only a matter of time till she gets hurt. I was sooo mad at myself for a while. How could I have been so stupid!! I really have no clue when he cheated b/c we were together all the time. Just thinking about him makes me sick.
I thank God everyday that my FH and I are together. He is such a wonderful man. I feel that all the sh*t that I put up with my ex was just a learning experience so I would grow up and know how to act and treat someone in real relationship. FH and I have the best relationship. We never raise our voices and we respect each other immensely

I married now and still haven't ran into my ex and we live in the same area, I guess it's for the best..what is there to say anyway?. When I cut ties with an ex it's for good..I don't believe in the 'friends' thing. I have one male friend and that's my hubby!!!

I disagree, I believe in the friends thing. My most recent ex and I have a nice friendship, my DH and I are actually going to the bar where he works tomorrow night. He invited us for a b-day drink(my b-day was yesterday.) He and I went through a lot of pretty grown up stuff while we dated and I don't think I could not ever talk to him again. I was very sick and he really kept me going. There were times when I was ready to give up and he wouldn't let me. I think that all was a huge part of why we broke up...it was just too much to deal with at so young, but now we are better freinds anyway. We didn't talk for about 1 1/2 yrs though! It was difficult at first, now we probably talk once ever other week or so. I think in some cases it's possible.

wacky, talk about 'nice to know you still have it' I was 8mths pregnant, and a note was left on my car! LOL saying 'you are hot, give me a call some time'...(freako guys out there ! )and it was a funny story, DH thought it was a ticket, and then when he read it, thought it was a joke... HAHH HAHHH. and to tease him. I left the note on the counter, and said 'hmmm, you never know, I might give him a call'..and he laughed and chucked it... talk about ego boost when youre a waddling pregnant girl !! although no matter how pregnant I was, I LOVEDDD every ounce and waddle of my pregnancy. I wanted to start showing so badly, I wanted the WORLD to know... there I go babbling again.....
