Not sure if you noticed but I have not been on the boards in a while. After a few things came to a head and hit the fan, FH and I took a break.
That break turned into a break-up. I realized that just because he and I loved eachother, it didn't mean we could actually make eachother happy. And we realized it shouldn't have to be this hard to try and make it work.
It was more my decision than his, and it took me a long time to reach it.
Best of luck to all of you ladies. I enjoyed talking and planning with you, and esp meeting some of you at TWOTY. I am sure you all will have beautiful weddings, and it is my sincere wish you all have wonderful happy lives with your FHs.

Thanks ladies. I will be allright. I was actually not that upset when it happened, which strengthened my belief that I was making the right decision. Plus my girls and sisters have been giving me lots of vino and taking me out to help me get through it!
It ***** because we tried so hard for so long to make it work. Almost felt like admitting defeat. But ultimately, we had to realize we were no longer on the same page, and trying to force it was not helping either of us. We argued more than we talked. We were both snapping at eachother alot. And it was getting worse to the point where neither of us really wanted to be home alone.
Worst part was calling the vendors - luckily I had only booked hair and makeup and the DJ.
