I have read somewhere that if your single guests are in a serious relationship then you address the invite as Ms. Smith & Guest. Now what do you do if your single guests are not involved with anyone? Do you invite them and a guest of their choice, or do you just invite the single guest? Any and all information will be highly appreciated!!

Re: Single Guest w/ a date or not ???
If its in your budget definitely with a guest. I was invited to several weddings back when I was single without a guest (I understood they couldn't afford it). Unless you have a lot of your single girlfriends there with you - it can be pretty depressing. JMO

we are inviting everyone with guest! If they are serious, the inner envelope will ready

If they are not serious about someone then it will just read & Guest!

I am not inviting anyone with a date who is not married or in a serious relationship. I woudl consider it, if someone did not know ANYONE else, but if there are a few people they know, I would not invite them with a date.
that is exactly what we did.

I think everyone should be invited with a date. I would hate to be at a wedding where I have to dance alone, or not dance durring a slow song. I would like to option to bring someone.
But if you definitly can't afford it, then don't, but in the scheme of things, is a couple extra people really going to kill the budget?

I'm with Shelly too. There's nothing wrong with having single guests...maybe they'll even mingle with one another and sparks will fly!
