I've had problematic skin my whole life.... Now that it has basically all cleared up (thanks to BCP) I have some scars from my acne. What kind of makeup will hide those scars best? Airbrush or regular foundation? Has anyone gotten a CHEMICAL PEEL rid face of scarring? If so what was it like?

Re: Skin & Day of Makeup
My sister had this issue - she actually went for a glycolic peel and a set of 4 microdermabrasions a few months before the wedding...I wouldn't suggest doing anything that strong the month of your wedding, incase your skin reacts badly to it.....
I have also tried microdermabrasion and it works great! As for wedding day makeup, she got airbrused and her skin looked absolutely FLAWLESS.....I highly recommend it!

Re: Skin & Day of Makeup
i'm interested too. i have acne scars and nothing has worked.....i;ve tried a ton of at home microdermabrasion kits, vitamin e, cocoa butter, etc, etc.
i guess the next thing to do is go to the dermatologist.
as far as makeup, i;m getting a trial in 2 weeks and am trying the airbrush. with regular foundation i know my scars can still be seen...but then again i like light foundations or mineral powders

If you don't mind spending the money go to a Mac store. They will sit you down and do your make up right their. You can try out the products and then see whats best for you. Also their make up lasts. I coach a dance team and we use Mac make up for that too. Sometimes they put their make up on at 9 in the morning and it still looks good when they perform at 5 pm. It's be good for everyday as well as your wedding.
PS. a good way to see if a cover up is good for you is to put some right on your jaw line. If you can't tell its there by looking at your face and neck then its a good match. Too many people match their cheeks where you're really tan, not their necks and it looks like they're wearing a mask
