Has anyone else decided to 'skip' the holiday gift exchanging with FH while saving for the wedding??
And for those ladies that have done this (maybe last year)...does FH actually listen?? I'm afraid I'll get him a small gift (maybe a book) and he'll end up buying me a regular gift anyway!!!!

Re: Skipping Christmas/Hanukkah gifts...
we usually go overboard every year so we said no gifts this year, but, i don't really know if it's going to happen. Our 6th year anniversary is 3 weeks after x-mas so I think we may try to do a local weekend get-away...i will probably need it after school finals!

We don't know what we're going to do... we'll probably scale back, but I LOVE Christmas and love giving gifts... but I'm gonna try!

Re: Skipping Christmas/Hanukkah gifts...
We have been only giving each other small gifts, under $100 the last year for everything (both saving). I think we'll go under $50 this year. I have a December birthday, and our anniversary is December.
I don't even want anything, all I ever wanted was my dream engagement ring and hopefully i'll be getting that soon!!
