Sleeves!

Sleeves!

One of my maids of honor is adamant about having sleeves. It seems like there are so few styles that aren't sleeveless or strapless.
I was looking through the thread on bridesmaid dresses and saw some gorgeous pix-- you girls have great taste-- but only two of them had any kind of a sleeve.

The other complication is that I'm getting married Memorial Day weekend, so the sleeves would have to be sheer, light weight or short.

Does anyone have pictures of beautiful dresses with sleeves that they could post?

Thanks!

Re: Sleeves!

I'm in the same boat, I need to see pics too!

I think Jim Hjelm has a few sleeved options, in the form of a jacket. Also, I am thinking of ordering extra fabric and having a shrug made.

Sorry, I don't have any pictures but if you go to http://www.belsoie.com and click on B2 spring 2005 collection, they have dresses with sleeves and or jackets. Hope this helps.

Re: Sleeves!

The first one is by forever yours bridals and I wasn't able to find a sample anywhere but alot of shops were willing to order it.

2nd one is by Lazaro and that's actually a wrap around sorta jacket -- very cute and removeable.

The third one is PC Mary's

The fourth is Morilee

I likr that 2nd one Jimmysbride posted. My MOH wanted sleeves too, but I couldn't find anything I likr, so we went slevveless. I didn't see that Lazaro one, or I would have considered it.

Re: Sleeves!

what about a wrap she can leave on if she wants (but will most likely take off!)

Re: Sleeves!

Unfortunately, she won't go for a wrap. I assume that she doesn't want to have to keep worrying about holding it on all night.

That Lazaro dress is a beautiful option. We're looking into dresses that have sheer jacket options now.

Thanks for all the ideas!

Re: Sleeves!

These pic's are all great but it is very very very hard to find any of them anywhere. My moh also wanted a dress with sleeves and what we ended up doing was buying a strapless gown with a shawl. My mom is a dress maker so she is making the shawl into a short sleeve for her. It is very hard to explain how it is done but once you see it, it looks as if the gown was made with the sleeves.

I will post pic's once it is done.
