Re: Slide show before announcement at wedding

We did a video montage of Pat and me growing up and dating, and it was played during dinner. Everyone loved it! My husband is a police officer, and when a picture of him at his promotion ceremony was shown, everyone cheered. It was such a great moment, one that I will never forget.
As far as elegance, I like to think I had a very nice wedding. It was exactly as I had always hoped it would be, and everyone enjoyed themselves. If it happened to be elegant along the way, so be it, but I wasn't setting out to host the social event of the century, just the love of two very happy people. That said, do what you and your fh think will be most special. You truly can't go wrong that way.
