Slight Bachelor Party Vent

1. So FH hates going out. He wouldn't even go out for my MOH's engagement party and I let it slide since I know he doesn't like it. He hated going to his GM's bachelor parties, and always said he wouldn't want one. So I was looking into doing a joint thing. Now he claims he wants one.

2. 'Traditional' bachelor parties have always irked me. I feel like it's not fair that as fiancée's we are expected to just deal with the fact that our partners can go get rubbed up on by naked women etc and we have no recourse and MORE IMPORTANTLY no way to make this equal. SO after thinking long and hard I decided about a year or so ago, that in order to make FH's feel the same way as strippers etc make FB's feel, it would only be equal if FB stripped for a guy. Male strippers are just NOT the same as the multitude of female strip clubs around.

FH HATES my logic on this, and I don't care, coz I feel that it's hitting in the exact place where the fact that I am 'traditionally' supposed to be OK with a bachelor party is hitting me. It's not that I don't trust him yada yada yada it's just that I think it's disgusting and disrespectful.

I don't know where we'll end up on this... I'll probably let him go, but then let him know I will be rubbing myself ALLLLLLL over guys at my bachelorette

I want to try to do my B-party after his. I told him if I hear of any misbehavior, he should be careful because I will top it threefold.

Mine says that he doesn't want strippers, etc but I don't know if I buy it. I wish there was a camera there so I could know how inappropriate I should behave at mine. I'm a bad combination of competitive and spiteful, lol.

I'm with you on this one.

We have had quite a few fights over the 'traditional' Bachelor parties. Best is these days a night of being rubbed on by numerous naked woman isn't even sufficient. Now it's full weekends away! So an entire weekend of this rude obnoxious behavior. Annoyed isn't the word, but it's the only word that won't be replaced with a bunch of *****s

My FH has been to Canada 2x already and is on his way to Dallas for another 'Weekend Bachelor Party' in October. Then it's his weekend party which will be in Vegas and thennnnnnnnnnnn his brother gets married 6 months after us so another weekend away with the guys to be despicable.

Im with ya on this.. I think strippers are just Gross and I have told FH many times Im totally NOT ok with any of it. They are going to AC for a few days when they do his.. He doesnt like strip clubs or any of that but Im like if what if your GM get you one.?? The thought makes me I totally 110% trust him so I really am not worried.

I don't know what an FB is either, but I do know that there will be absolutely no stripper action in mine or FH's future. Well that isn't entirely true, because I can't stop his friend's bachelor parties from happening, but before he marries me, he will not have naked w h o r e s dancing in his lap. Totally with you.

why dont you have a jack and jill party (a joint bach party)?

and just bc FH has a bach party doesn't mean it has to include strippers! FH went to one last yr in AC and all they did was gamble, go to dinner and drink

The problem is basically over strippers, two of his GM had strip clubs included and he spent the whole night BBMing me to the point where I knew nothing was going on with him, but I do know the bachelor got a lot of stuff bought for him that I would not be OK with FH getting.

It just really p*sses me off that he was totally against it and has now changed his mind. I may not have said yes if I thought he was the strip club bachelor party kind of guy!

Nice to know I have a lot of support here though! Maybe we should do a joint one and all go to a strip club together

Exactly!! Luckily FH really doesn't care. I said 'I want you to have an amazing time with your friends- there is no reason that naked women have to be involved.' I also throw in 'would you want guys slamming me up against walls and putting their junk in my face?' He does not approve of that so I think we are okay, haha. I totally trust him too, but that isn't the point. The point is I do not like w h o r e s.

FH and I are doing joint (his suggestion). I've been having headaches as of late but not because of him. Some of my gf's are whining about guys coming. Isn't it about what I want? Suck it up!

I'm not against strippers in general, I've been to a stripclub in vegas. I wouldn't be crazy about FH going to stripclubs all the time but I'd let it go once in a blue moon.

What I don't like about ordering a stripper for a private party is that I feel (JMO) that they are a little sketchier and willing to do more nasty a$$ shiet for money. I've heard some crazy stuff from guys and I just hate any scene where drunk guys are egging eachother on. Not to say the bachelor would do anything but it doesn't sit right with me, either!

I understand. I flip flop between the whole 'going to a strip club (and just watching) isn't a big deal' to 'OMG DON'T YOU DARE EVEN LOOK AT ANOTHER GIRL' on almost a daily basis.

It bothers me that 'in real life' if a naked skank was rubbing on my FH, I would not think twice about going Lorena Bobbit on his a**, but that for his bachelor party I'm supposed to just chuckle and shrug it off as if it is the norm.
