Early this year HP came out with a camera that can take off 10-15lbs in pictures. I guess they are targeting for a more sliming and flattering look...... if you had a choice for your wedding day....would you want your photograhers to use it???link to the HP website for the magical CAMERA!!!

Re: Slimming Camera - literally...
That's horrifying!
ETA: I'm horrified at how we as a society are getting bigger and, while we act concerned about the health effects and such, are really only concerned with how we look. If you look 10 pounds lighter in pictures are you going to be happy with your weight then? Also, isn't the point of pictures to capture a moment truthfully? It's one thing to pose in a way that hides your flaws, another thing to manipulate your photos purposely to change how you look. Furthermore, I find it so sad that so many people are so unhappy with how they look that a company went out and created this feature.

Re: Slimming Camera - literally...
I really have a vision of my photographer using good old fashioned 35mm film. In fact I am avoiding some of the more popular vendors because they use only digital. BUT... 10-15 lbs? Without diet or excercise? No matter what angle?
I am ALL OVER THAT!

I have to agree, I'm not crazy about my weight, and I'm doing my best to change that, but I don't know about a camera that will do it for me.

I wouldn't use it-if I want to lose weight-I will, I wouldn't want fake pictures of me.

Re: Slimming Camera - literally...w/ Poll!!
I def. would ask my photographer to us it. I am so petrified of the added weight cameras add, because I usually hate the way I look in pictures. Also, it the camera is adding 10 lbs thats not how I really looked on that day. I know I am really shallow, but I wouldnt be spending so much time on how I look that day if I wasnt concerned with my appearance on the big day.
