where is your slip supposed to end? mine just grazes the floor, its long, seamstress told me to cut it (she isn't allowed to do anything with it since i purchased it outside of the bridal salon)- can i take it to the tailor at the dry cleaner? i dont know where else to bring it its a ballgown/aline slip - the amount she told me to cut off would make it be above my ankle or shorter - is that right?

Re: Slip Question
I would just make sure its def. shorter than the dress.... mine was around my ankle. If you take it to a dry cleaners they should be able to do it for you... but when your there.... PUT IT ON and let him adjust it... I wouldnt reccomend just going and saying 'can you take a inch off'. goodluck

Re: Slip Question
yeah, i remember thinking that my slip looked funky when I had it on without the dress. lol. I believe it went to my ankles. You definitely don't want it coming outta the bottom of the dress.

Re: Slip Question
mine was a ball gown type slip and i had to cut it. The tulle on the bottom was itching my feet when I walked. After it was cut the not itchy material was a little shorter than the dress but the underpart was probably at the middle of my ankle. It's hard to explain.
