Slip vs. Hoop Skirt?

Hey Girls,

Anyone have any input on a regular slip vs. a hoop skirt? I like how the hoop skirt keeps the dress/slip from getting all tangled in your legs and keeps them nice and airy, but I feel like I will be bumping people with it all night and I don't want it to look funny while I am sitting on the alter or at the dais.

What are you girls all doing?

FYI- pics of my dress are in my album if anyone has any suggestions!!! It's heavy satin, with a semi-cathedral train so it definitely needs something!

Also, if you say slip...what is the # you are using? (don't they have different #'s which have different levels of 'oomph'?)

I had a hoop.. I loved it. they bend so its not like your going to hurt anyone if you bump into them. and your dress is would look gorgeous as a full ball gown.
