Slipper Basket

Does anyone have a poem for the basket? I have two that i have found. Just wondering if there were any more out there??

Here are a few I've seen:

1. Dance around with your pretty shoes , and never miss a beat, But when they ache just take a break, and wear these on your feet

2. All dressed up with pretty shoes,dancing more and more, Please help yourself to a pair of these, if your feet should get sore

3. When your feet begin to hurt,and you don't think you can move, put these slippers on your feet,and get back in the groove

4. Bought new shoes to match your dress and now they're feeling tight?Have not a care just take a pair,and you can dance all night

My FH 's Cousin did this at her wedding and I thought it was a great idea. But I feel like a copy cat if I do it for my wedding. What do you guys think?

Def. not a copy cat... Go for it! I know alot of girls that did this at there weddings, i was just too tipsy to remember what the basket said, lol

It will make your guests feel a little more comfortable, you know how it feels to dance in shoes all night. Or let alone what about the girls that go barefoot and go home with black feet?? or end up stepping on glass bc Uncle Boozy had a few too many and dropped a glass!
