Smithtown Landing...Good or Bad?

Since we've had some trouble finding waterfront facilities that fill our needs, we right now have the Smithtown Landing on our short list. We just went there today and the place didn't seem too bad. Has anyone been there or know anyone who's gone there for a reception? What did they say? We want the blunt honest truth. thanks... gimpybride *the reason for the name is that I tore a ligament on my knee during skiing and now I'm wearing a friggin' brace! GRRRRR. (smile)

Smithtown Landing...Good or Bad?

Hove you tried the Port Jeff Country Club? My fi and I checked it out, seemed nice. Like all country clubs, it has a country club atmosphere where the members are all walking around. That's why we didn't choose it for our location, however the view from the room and deck was breathtaking as you are right on the water. Lora
