Peter was coming home from Iraq!!!
I can't believe how much time has flown! He left Iraqi soil on May 11, 2006. And was on American soil for Mother's Day, 2006. I am so grateful to have him home for almost a year now...My own personal hero!!!
We are going to church on Friday to pray for all his buddies that are still there, and all the men and women in our armed forces who are out there. And then a celebratory dinner for him being home safe!!!
I am just so proud of him and so happy he has been home for a whole year now!!
Those of you who have been on this site forever know the whole story and all I went through while I was gone. Thanks for all your support during that time, and all the friendship and love afterwards![]()

CONGRATS TO THE 2 OF YOU!!! You must be soo happy to have him at home!
My Fh is in the Marine Corps. He is stationed in San Diego. So we do not really get to see too much of each other as of now. But he will be home at the end of this month till June 27th when he leaves for Japan. But then from Japan he goes to Iraq. He isnt sure though how long after he gets to Japan he will be going to Iraq- could be a few weeks or a few months!!![]()
But he is overseas for a whole year and then in July of 08 he is out and I finally get him home for good!!! And we get married in Sept 08!! It is comforting to know other people have gone throuhg what I am going to be going through- and have made it through!

Oh my God.....I can't believe a year has flown by, in that year, I got married, I'm pregnant and I'm waiting for you girls to have your special days!!!
