SO ANNOYED!!!!! hospital drama

ok just called my mom and now let me briefly explain what happened monday before i tell you what they said today.

On monday is when they found out my dad has 2 blocked arteries. They told him they will take him to another hospital to do the surgery. Now before the doctor could say where my dad said 'Oh what about LIJ' the doctor said no we're going to take you to Lennox hill hospital and my dad said ok, the docs even said they'll be there too.

oK monday nobody came so fine. Next day my dad asked when is LENNOX HILL coming? they said it takes time so ok fine. Wednesday he asked the nurse again and she even called up Lennox hill.

Now to today-my mom told me that when he asked and somebody checked, well they told him, now get this 'ITS HIS FAULT' they said well you said you wanted LIJ' are these people out of their D*MN minds. He suggested it and the doctors said no and obviously its not him who calls to do this. ALl along the nurses and docs have been saying lennox hill, he even asked if they can call lennox hill so why today are they acting like they thought it was LIJ. Ok and if they thought that, did they call LIJ or have they come-NOOOOOO

obviously somebody messed up and now theyre blaming him. Well they said he'll be moved this afternoon so lets see

aww denise I will keep my fingers crossed for him and ur fam. yea someone messed up and the is horrible that they are pointing the blame at him how awful

Oh so annoying, let us know whats going on with your dad. My FH's uncle had 6 blockages in 4 arteries and he is doing great now!!

i know the nurse even called up lennox hill yesterday so if she thought it was LIJ then why would she call lennox hill.

I know i hope by the time i get home i find out they moved him

Ok when did your dad become the boss of the entire hospital?
If the doctors thought he should go to LIJ that's where they would have sent him and he wouldn't be waiting all this time for Lennox Hill.

How dare they even try to blame him!!!

I really hope everything goes well and they move him quickly.. the last thing he needs is stress and they should be trying to alleviate that .. not add to it!!

he just said LIJ bc when they said they were moving him he thought he had to pick where but the doc said NO we ARE taking you to Lennox and my dad said ok thats fine right after. I was even there later on that night and the doctor came to talk to him about lennox hill and that he called

It's never ending with this hospital I see. If I were your mom (if she's at the hospital with you dad) or your dad, I would ask to speak to that doctor again. Tell him that your dad wants to go wherever it is BEST for him to go. If LIJ is not the best place to go, but your dad suggested it and then was shot down, then that's where they're going to send him anyway?!? I mean doesn't this doctor know where it's best to send your dad, so that he gets the best care and treatment possible? I owuld get a hold of that doctor and have him clear everything up!

who knows who is even to blame, whether it was the doctors, nurses or administration. I am sure they'll all blame eachother too.

I remember someone on here saying all the paperwork that had to be done, they might've called for lennox to come and i think they didnt do all the paperwork they had to give lennox and now someone might've realized so instead of taking the blame they'll blame a man who has been in the hospital for 11 days, 3 of those days just waiting around and also waiting for heart surgery which he is already scared about.

At this point they just need to get him there.

omg i can only imagine how my dad has been, hes probably been causing drama in the hospital hahaha. I am sure they found this out after he probably caused a scene.

That is completely unacceptable! I cant believe they are trying to blame your father for not moving him- ridiculous. If I were you, I would head to the hospital administrator's office and see if that person can help get some action.

They're just making excuses, it's so obvious they screwed up. And it's so pathetic they're blaming a patient...they shouldn't be giving him more stress, and even if it was a patient's fault, they shouldn't be pointing fingers...so unprofessional!

Denise sorry your dad and your family have to through all of this because someone was not compentant enough to do their job properly the first time.

I hate when people just can't own up to their own mistake and insist on pointing the finger -- just makes them look worse not better.
