But what is the medical reason for needing a scheduled c/s? I mean, is that you had one before so they are telling you that you need one again?

Karen- don't give up on a VBAC. There are so many ways to help your chances.

Having a repeat C doesnt bother me. I told my doc that I will have a VBAC if labor progresses quickly. They told me I have to be in bed monitored the entire time I am in labor in case something happens... I was in labor with Emma in bed for 9 hours, complete torture which I really dont feel like going through again. If I go into labor and get to the hospital and am 4-5CM and going 1CM an hour Ill try the VBAC but otherwise Im a canidate for a repeat. I dont want an epi so thats out the window. I have 12 more weeks to see what happens.
