So Chewie likes to eat his poops...

Anyone else have this problem? When will he grow out of this? How old do they tend to do this to? Everytime he goes poops he turns around to eat it! Yulk! I have to grab it before he gets it.

Gizmo doesnt eat his own but he has tried to eat other animals poops!

winnie used to do this too. it was so gross, because she would eat her poop and then throw up, so it was poop and vomit mixed together. anyway, she eventually stopped. i think she was around 8 or 9 months old when she stopped. our vet gave us some stuff, for-bid, to put on her food, to make her not want to eat her poop, but i don't think it really worked. she just stopped on her own.

I think it's a puppy thing ... you can probably find some info on Dr Forsters & Smith online library.

Bailey has been eating bunny rabbit poop in the yard like crazy!!! I want to kill him!!!

Well they say that it has to do with the food you are feeding the puppy. If they arent digesting it enough, when the poop comes out it still smells like his food and then they eat it. What kind are you feeding him?

Science Diet. I switched 2x already.

I even tried stuff you spinkle on his food to make his poops smell bad. He STILL likes it! They said put hot sauce on the poops...he even likes THAT!

I'll wait it out. Hopefully he will grow out of it like the other puppies.

Sprinkles does the same thing and she's over a year...nasty!! Sometimes she'll try to pull it out of Angel's butt while she's making it. Then she tries to kiss you. Keep your doodie lips to yourself girlfriend!!

Okay, I have a better one, what is up with tic tac getting a hold of the baby's diaper and eating it's poo....O my gosh, she is on severe punishment as we speak.
