i just read some of the reviews from former brides and one girl wrote in about people calling venues and vendors and pretending to be other people and cancelling because they want them for that date or just jealousy??? i cannot really believe this is true - PLEASE tell me she is WRONG!!!!

Im sure it has actually happened-just remember that just b/c you signed up to post on LIW doesnt mean that everyone who comes on this site has! I didnt sign up until months after searching thru the vendors, etc. People are crazy when it comes to wedding and the only t hing you can do it be careful when posting your vendors

so sad isn't it? i should know...kind of happened to me!

ppl think i have my profile all funny just cause i'm silly. (well i am!) but i also do it, cause i used to have all my info in there....and one nite got a called from the banquet manager at my hall....and long story short: a bride used my & FH's name, wedding date and such and said WE told her that we were getting a certain kind of deal (which was a ridiclious $$ savings) and he was trying to find out why i would say such a thing!

needless to say i was PO'd and changed my info. i announced what happened on here..but never found out the girl who did it. but sadly enough--ppl can be quite shady!

all I can say is that if someone actually has the mind and the TIME to do that.....they need to find a job (or a better on) or they need their FH to do a better job in bed.

Wow, I guess it would be safe to wait until after you got married to list them. That's freaky if someone actually does that though. This is good to know. I guess we should all be careful.
