I just got home from a Labor Day get together and was checking my e-mail and FH's aunt sent me an email regarding my bridal shower. She put in the title of the e-mail ('Your Bridal Shower September 26th'). I'm so upset because it was suppose to be a surprise. I was looking forward to getting surprised :(
She was telling me that she RSVP'd to my sister (MH) but hadn't heard from her and wanted to know where to send the gift. HELLO!!! Why would you e-mail me? Or at least why would you put the date of the bridal shower, just ask me where to send the gift. I'm so upset but I can't even vent to any one because I don't want to ruin the surprise for them. I want them to think that I still don't know, they put a lot of work into making it a surprise.

my surprise was ruined a minimum of 6 times
one girl text me saying she lost the card and didnt know who to rsvp to... so i knew invites were sent
FMIL casually said FSIL wouldnt be there since its the week of so and so, so i knew the week
dads girflfriends sister , who wasnt invited, came up to me and said, ' hey, you ready for the big shower on saturday?' so i knew the date
ugh it was SO annoying!

That's terrible; a lil discretion goes a LONG way! I'm so sorry your surprise was ruined. Smile and have fun anyway and know that all your loved ones will be there for you.
