ok soo after talking about our favors tonight with Fh...(the favors were his idea haha) we discussed colors and a possible theme
we came up with this:
we both love wine well me more but i wanted to add something about our personality into our wedding and i couldnt think of anything related to our relationship (like being a long distance relationship for so long since he is in the military) so we went with the wine idea
and our colors are mocha with ivory and a light green color but will the wine theme go with those colors??
when we say wine theme we are going to use corks as our placecards and have table names instead of #'s and do all different wine names!! I just loved the cork idea when i saw it on someones wedding review from having it at Vineyard Caterers!! haha

thanks jeanette!! i love my colors now that i finally decided on colors...
and now with the wine theme i am def checking out Vineyard Caterers I heard it is pretty there...we will see though haha

my brother's best friend got married there 2 years ago, it was an awesome wedding.
that would be so cute if you got married there and had a wine theme!!!!!

those colors would defiantly go really well with your theme. they also have favors where they can make a wine specifically for your wedding, my uncle did this for his wedding, it was awesome and tasted great!

You can give little wine bottles with wine in it as favors to keep the theme going. That is what I am thinking of doing.

yea you can do your own 'private label' get them printed or print them out yourself and slap it over the wine bottle and hand them out as favors.
the colors are a good combo light green or even a neon green apple, burgandy, and ivory.

We went to a wedding at a vineyard (raphaels) this past weekend and it was gorgeous. I've never been to the vineyards before. What they did was they doubled the favor (a bottle of wine) as the place card so they tied a tag around the top with the guest's name and table #. It was really cute and no one took more than one favor, I thought it was a great idea. Oh and wine will go with any colors you pick!

The vineyards are so beautiful that time of year. Check out the Vineyard Catereres in Aquebogue. It's so beautiful it will be worth the drive!

hahaha my colors are brown and ivory with a touch of green and we are making placecard holders out of corks! We have been collecting corks for a year now. :) Great minds think alike. I think the colors will be fine with the wine theme.
