Re: So frustrated

I am just curious why you need this cross-street neighborhood. Why is that important? Just wondering...

Try Setauket. I just baught a house there. There are mostly center hall colonials. It might be to far away for you?

Re: So frustrated

in regards to that first house, i'm trying to figure out where those train tracks go? i grew up in npt also so i know the area and i don't recall any train tracks going that way. the main tracks are that line that goes behind the hs. anyone know what those others are?

as far as the busy road thing, i wouldn't be so quick to eliminate a house based on that. both my sister and brother live (in npt) on busy roads. they also have small children. they've never had any problems at all. so you never know.... at least take a look before you eliminate something completely is my motto.

i don't really have an answer except that a 'cross-street' neighborhood is our personal preference. i grew up in this type of neighborhood and can't imagine living in a neighborhood that wasn't.

we LOVE the setauket are, but yes it is too far.
