fh and i keep getting back rsvps from people who keep adding guests when we didn't invite them with guests. the first few were ok...but now today we got back a family of 5 that we have never even met before, plus numerous other people who have added guests when we didn't include 'and guest' ... we're starting to get nervous that everyone is going to do this and we're going to have a major problem with the number of tables and people. especially because his dad warned us that some distant family member has like 7 kids and always brings them to events like this. and there's nothing we can even do... ugh.

I'm really sorry about this! I asked about your response card because that is one of my big fears leaving a space for the # of guests attending - I feel like (uninformed) guests might think that gives them free reign - its problematic in my opinion. JMO.

It really stinks you're going through this. I see you are also a Watermill bride. Are you up or downstairs??? I know we have a 160 minimum upstairs, but I'm not sure how many would be the max. Do you know???
ETA: More people = more tables = more centerpieces = more $$$$$$$
