So, grammy hasn't been doing good

We are moving right along with the chemo treatments and she has had minimal reactions to it so far (thank goodness) but she is been SUPER depressed lately. She stays in bed for days at a time and crys a lot.

So today my mom and my aunt went and adopted her a puppy (1/2 beagle 1/2 hot dog)from the North Shore Animal League and surprised her with it today. She got out of bed, for the first time in 3 days, and was laughing and playing with her. I called there to see what she thought and she was so happy. She said that the puppy brightened up her day and she loves her. I think she named her Molly. I'm going over there after work to see all of them! I'll post pictures tomorrow!!!

Keep praying for her. Every little prayer helps. Thanks again, girls. You are all so great and supportive

Ladies, I have tears in my eyes. You have all been amazing through this. I am trying to be so strong for her and I feel like I can turn to you guys for support and that means more to me than you will ever know. All the prayers and thoughts are definitely appreciated, and as I said, you all have no idea how much it means to me and my family.

I stopped by there tonight and the dog is SOOOOO cute. I'll post pictures in the morning!! Grammy was on the floor playing with Molly and Molly was licking her so much. And she just kept smiling!!! it was so great to see!!

Okay - so that totally made me cry!!! We're here for you in whatever way we can be!!!! You have to take pics of her & Molly and make her a frame or something - she'll LOVE it!! And that way - she can bring a pic of Molly when she goes for Chemo!!!!!!

That is the plan. When I got there she had a shower cap on b/c she is starting to loose her hair and when I wanted to take a picture of her an Molly, she took the cap off. It was really touching. I'll post the pics in the morning. She doesn't look good physically, but she has a huge smile on her face!!!

And I meant every word I said. I never thought I could come on here and actually make friends... I'm so excited to meet you gals at the shower.

I actually thought about her yesterday. Your post about her just popped into my head. Its hard. Believe me I KNOW!! We will all keep praying for her.
