I have posted a few times there has been some drama with FMIL well I figured if anything she would try to be nice at my shower but guess what. SHE LEFT 15 MINUTES AFTER I GOT THERE. Thats right her and FH's sister took off. Real nice. Unfortunately this was the final straw, after the wedding I will not talk to her again. Oh and the only gift from BOTH of them was a christmas ornament.

I am so sorry. I can't imagine how anyone could act that way towards the woman who is marrying her son. How do you not give a proper gift? How do you not congratulate her?

Thanks for the support ladies, FH was livid. Everyone kept telling me dont worry, just go on with your shower.

thats awful of your FMIL and FSIL... i cant imagine how mad you must be!!! i wouldnt talk to them either!! your FH should def. say something to them both thats just wrong.. and you should know how embarrassed they should feel im sure all your guests noticed!

I'm so sorry that she did that but am so glad that your FH supports you & sees it too. I dont blame you for not wanting to speak to her after the wedding- she deserves it
