OK..so we are just about to book the CBC for June 5th 2010..however.....after talking over some numbers yesterday with them..they made me a FANTASTIC offer basicly saving me 65.00 off the price per head if I book it for this August...
MAKES me think...thats a lot of money... I know I can get it together by then..but not sure if the FH will agree...what should I do?

That is a tough one. Are you really set on your other vendors that you will book. It is going to be a little tough to book some of the more popular LIW vendors for August. That being said 65 pp is A LOT of money and you may get lucky in booking your other vendors. Are you doing your ceremony at the hall or at a church?

I'd say just sit down and talk numbers with him.. that's what my FH understands best!
And talk it over with your immediate fam.. they would probably give good advice seeing if guests can come in august ( I don't know how many out of state guests you have)
have you booked vendors yet? You may want to contact them first before switching the date to see who's still available and if you're gonna lose any money on deposits you put down.

i would SO stress about that 65 dollars you are saving! Also tell him the money u save can be used to buy a house :)

Its money saved but you have to make sure that the vendors that youre gonna want are available that day and make sure that their prices plus the per head prices you can manage....

Calculate how much money you'll save and then tell him all the different things you can do with that money saved (such as an extravagent HM or a vacation this year)

u can most deffff pull it off.. my bro got engaged in feb and their wedding is the end of july. she already booked rh,church bought her dress ... in all honesty... u can plan an entire wedding in 2 weeks . its a matter of husttling lol i say go fo rit. 65$ off a head is a lotttt

just explain the costs. i know my FH would jump at the chance. i am the one saying we need time to plan because i dont want stress. lol. so if you can do it, go for it! im sure he will love the idea of marrying you sooner

i would totally do it....just think, if your having 100 people and your saving $65pp, thats $6500!!! Think of what you can do with all that money saved, I say go for it.
