Am I the only one that has been w/fh this long? I consider myself lucky to have had him for more time.
ETA: How did you meet?
We knew eachother from living in the same town, but didn't really know eachother personally. We got together at a local Bar/Restaurant.

We dated in high school. Split up for 7 years (I went to college out of state and ended up staying a coupld extra years in the town my college was in). I moved back to NY in November 2004 to take a job in NYC and we got back together! Very romantic if you ask me!

It will be 6 years on July 4th. We met when I was a freshman in College. We also worked together. I can't beleive I was only a teenager.

We have been together almost 10 years. We officially me 11 years ago. Weirdness factor: We were born a month apart in the same hospital, our mother's had the same OBGYN, and we had the same pediatrician growing up. WEIRD!

We are together a little over 2 and half years. We met at a bar, but it turns out we went to the same jr. high school. He claims he remembers me, but I don't remember him.

We've been together about 3 and a half years.
We met when his cousin was dating my best friend. They didn't want us to get together because they thought it would get weird if he and I broke up. Well they've since broken up - and yeah, it was weird. Haha. But apparently there was no need for them to worry about us!

We got engaged on our 5 yr anniversary. We were friends for 5 years before we started dating! So we will have known eachother 12 yrs when we get married!!! I met him when I was 16. He used to joke that he wanted to marry me.....hahaaa who knew???

April will be 4 years.
ETA: He was my friends tenant. I was actually engaged to another guy when we met. All he said to me was wow you have beautiful eyes. Over then next few months we would just say hi in passing. My ex and I broke up and I spent the weekend at my friends, he hung out with my friends and I. We have been together since.

we have been together for 2.5 years...
FH and I have known each other for 13 years though. He lives across the street from my cousins who live exactly 5 blocks away. And FH is best friend with my cousin and older brother. I joke cause FH was in love with me since the time we met- and we were 9 years old...lol and he would always talk about me to my brother and want to come hang out at my house as he got older cause I was around...
So now we joke cause we never thought we would be marrying eachother- FH sadly never thought he had the chance with me until he shipped off into the Marine Corps and got the balls to ask me out after knowing me for 11 yrs lol

November was 3 years for us...we met because I was a member of Weight Watchers (still am!), and had just lost over 100 lbs. A woman at my meeting was a family friend of FH's and basically set us up. He'd lost 75 lbs. at the time and took two weeks for his shy self to call...the rest is history.
