Photo Booth? I hope this is only done during the cocktail hour, I dont know what it is, but I would hate for my guest to be in and out of the reception to take pictures if this is like a regular photo booth you see at amusement parks.
geesh what will they think of next? I think the elegance of weddings is becoming extinct and its becoming more and more of a showcase and way too commercialized.

I thought the photo booth was awesome and definitely would have loved to have it at my wedding. IMO it does not take away any elegance at all. It is fun! Me and my friends were having a blast trying to squish in there and take pics. They came out so cute. And even better they print out a book of all the pics for the guests to sign at the wedding.

Yes. And all the guests get copies of their pictures too.

I agree, and I havent even seen it. Just the idea doesnt say wedding it says sweet 16. I cant see my or DH's family getting into a booth! But thats just us.

I dont think its rude to be honest when this is a BHB board and its only an opinion. She will do what she thinks is best for her wedding and guests. I didnt use the word cheesy or tacky like I have seen soooooooo many on this board use. I just simply said to me, again its JMO that it says more sweet 16 than wedding. I gave an honest answer that I would hope for in return had I asked about something 'new' to have at my wedding.

It's the kind of thing where I would ahve been like 'oh that's so bar mitzvah!' But after doing it and having so much fun and discussing the photo guestbook with the rep, I just loved it. I'm just trying to find a way to put it out of the way where it won't detract from the elegance of the affair.
ETA IU'll scan my pics when you get home, but it prints out on a card with the B&Gs name and date. The first time through you ask them to doante one strip to the guestbook and sign under it, and then they can go back as many times as they want. I think my friends would love it.
