I have been procastinating because I am terrified to fly. Now when I say terrified I mean like there is no way Im getting on this plane type scared. From the day Tom proposed the first thought that came into my mind was How am I gonna get on a plane?, most think oK where am I gonna have my wedding or I cant wait to go shopping for my dress, nope not me. My question is does anyone else have a fear and how can I get over it? DO you think if I go to the dr they can give me something?

I have a fear of flying too!! My FI thinks I am nuts. The worst part is that he works for an airline and the two of us can fly for free!! Since he has had this job I have only flew once, he has all of these plans to go to Europe and I am freaking out!!! I rather drive the 5 hours from DC to NY instead of take a 40 minute flight!!! I really need to get over this fear too!! My problem is really just the take off and first 10 minutes, but the whole time I feel like I am about to have a heart attack I am so nervous!!

Ummm...wasnt southwest the airline that went under a few months ago?? I remember hearing about it from all my co-workers whose tix were invalid when they wanted to go to FL on our break

I am deathly afraid of flying, and have to travel all the time for work. I am dreading flying to hawaii for our honeymoon. G to www.fearofflying.com. It saved my life. I will get on a plane now with no problem.

Hey, I just wanted to take a minute to let you know that Southwest is actually the safest airline out there. I was in a meeting about Quality Control and the presenter went on and on using Southwest as an example for safety. They have the best track record and they only fly one kind of place, which really helps remove a lot of chance for error. Hope this helps eleviate some of your fear!
