Re: so i finally
We're just doing the ceremony (it will take about a half hour). We figure we are both going to be so nervous and anxious in the church, so we wanted to make it easier on ourselves and keep it light lol. Our mothers really want us to include a mass though. Especially since we have so much time- our church is at 2:30 and the cocktail hour is at 7:30.

We're doing a full mass because we have a 2:30 church and 8 PM cocktail (damn Fox Hollow... that's the only thing I hate).

Re: so i finally
I would like to be able to have a mass but based on the time of my CH and wanting to get pictures done (and actually enjoy my cockatail hour) we opted for just the ceremony.

They will not call you back right away. I am only doing a ceromony. No one I know goes to church and FH isn't Catholic. Plus I don't think they do masses on Sunday anyway and that is when I am getting married

When I was considering it, I was just going to do the ceremony.
But things have changed and I want a ceremony at the hall.

Unless you are a religious person it is not necessary.

Re: so i finally
i am just doing a ceremony (consensus between everyone in my family that a mass would be too long).

It would be too long. Our priest told us the ceromony alone would be 40 minutes long!!!!

Re: so i finally
Originally we were doing a full mass. We're just doing the ceremony, because its at 11:30 and CH is at 1.
