Nope....Got JACK SH!T at my job...there are all of like 10 people here, not one in my age group

No Kelly....but it's nice to have something in common....everyone has families or are like senior citizen older. No one to socialize with (or that I would even consider friend material-I'm picky)

Hon, I can def relate to you. I can't help it, I've cried a lot too since we moved, even though I have my best friends here and my beautiful goddaughter; I don't have my mom or my dad, or my brother and the other 2500 friends I had back home, but, this is our new life and we love being here just us.
As long as I have a phone to talk to everybody I miss and I need, and jetblue SOOOOOOOO cheap from Florida to NY i will be ok Plus, don't you love when they come visit you?
There are good times coming, it's always hard at the beginning, not moving, everything! the first day of school, a new job etc
We'll be ok and happy!

I think a dog run is a great idea!!!

I completely understand. I have never made friend that I didn't work with, go to school with or know through a freind.

My mom on the other hand, goes to a gym & knows the life stories of everyone there.

Do a little research into community activites. sign up for volunteer activites, if you don't have $ for classes.
