So I know there are tons of DisneyWorld fans here (myself included), but has anyone gone to Universal Orlando lately?

Just curious how the ticket prices work there , and how you liked Islands of Adventure

Thanks in advance!

I was in Orlando last month and went to Universal but had free comp tickets..
Just wanted to say Im another HUGE fan of the spiderman ride. I honestly thought it was THE best ride I have ever been on.
If you want a YUMMY meal, Emerils is right outside the enterence. BEst meal I think I ever ate.
Have a wonderful time

wanted to add.. PAY 3 EXTRA DOLLARS for 'preferred parking' It saves you about 1 mile ( not exagerating) walking time.

Thank you for the info re: parking .. since we are going to have a car that is really good to know

there are two emeril resteraunts on UNiversal property, besides the normal one at city walk there is also Tchoup Tchoup at the Royal Pacific.

Edited to add- I have been to both a few times...Tchoup Tchoup is soo much better.

The Royal Pacific is one of the hotels on Universal Property, right? Is it a hike to get to from the parks?

Sorry for all the questions!

no its not bad at all! I believe its like a 7-10 minute from city walk which is right outside both parks.

by the way tchoup tchoups is pronounced chop chop, just something I thought I would let you know.
Although I don't want to sway you. If youwant move of a New Orleans flare to your food you should go to Emerils. Tchoup Tchoup has more of an asian flair.

I absolutely LOVE Islands of Adventure. It's my favorite park. I can't wait until I go there again. Won't be any time soon though. What fun would it be if I can't even go on any rides?
