Isn't Price is Right filmed there - I would SO go on that show if I was in San Diego!?! It is the best sick day filler ever - and I always wanted to feel how heavy that wheel was!

I suggest yellow for the brightness factor. Maybe a Bob reference. Perhaps something about controlling the animal population Clearly I am obsessed!

Many audience members arrive early on the day of a taping. Most have already received tickets for that day's show, although some hope to get same-day tickets. Audience members are then given the famous name tags with a temporary identification number. The ID number is also written on the person's ticket. Audience members are eventually brought through in groups of ten for brief interviews with Stan Blits, the show's music director/contestant coordinator. (Until partway through Season 32, these interviews were conducted by one of the producers.) Social Security Numbers are also checked for tax reporting of potential prize winners.

Contestant names are not chosen at random. Rather, the interviews determine possible selections for the nine contestants per taping from among the pool of approximately 320 audience members.

With few exceptions (including previous contestants and political candidates), anyone at least 18 years old who attends a taping of the show has the potential to become a contestant on The Price Is Right.

My friend lives in La Jolla. If you get a chance to drive up around there-the views are amazing and the little down town area is very nice. You can really see the influence the area had on Dr. Seuss-all the trees look like the ones he draws-it is funny.

We also had dinner at a nice seafood restaurant right on the water near downtown San Diego. We also went to the beach a few times - Mission Beach I think? The breakfast burritos they make out there are great, the fish tacos too. I wanted to go to Tijuana-but we never made it.

Beautiful, all of it-I love San Diego - have fun!!

I was reluctant to try them - I was like fish in a taco? But I thought they were great. I have tried them here on the east coast, but they weren't the same.

I've never been there, but my BIL grew up there. the SD Zoo is a must see from what I have heard. they also have a Seaworld there.

I loved George's on the Cove - great restaurant in La Jolla -

I enjoyed chilling out at the beach in La Jolla Shores and in Mission Beach too - Two totally different type of 'areas' but both great!

Hotel del Coronado is there....as seen in Some Like It Hot (went out there for an All Star Game when I worked for MLB)--great parties!!!

There's also a cool mall....
