So I picked up the keys to our new apartment today and started to freak out!

I picked up the keys from our landlord and while FH was at work. I went to the apartment to take a peek and when I walked in and saw 'our home' I kinda freaked! It finally dawned on me that I won't be living in my parents house anymore! I'm happy and sad at the same time. did this happen to anyone else???

me too! Last night I was a crying mess...hehehe... I am getting so emotional leaving my parents home. It's strange, I am soooo happy yet sooooo sad. I am glad that someone else understands also. I thought I was crazy!

I'm freaking a little bit about moving out of my paren'ts house. I just keep telling myself 'you did it for college and you were fine!!'..I mean, Im so excited to move in with FH in our new house, but I am sad about leaving my house with my parents and my 'routine' at home.

WOW, I left home right after High School to Join the Army.......when I came back I moved into my grandparents for about a year before getting an apartment with FH (that was about 3 years ago). I kind of wish I had the excitment of doing it the 'old school' way and not leaving home until married. Good luck to all you girls!!!

when FH and I moved in together I was nervous and excited at the same time...I procrastinated packing until my mom finally just started packing stuff up for me...When we first moved in it was wierd...but after a few weeks I really enjoyed the freedom....Relax and enjoy.....you will be fine....!!

I love living at home. I like to be around people and hate being alone so I think it is going to be a big adjustment for me BUT I am exicted. I pakced a few boxes the other day of stuff I had on my shelves and I did get a bit emotional about it, and I am also so glad I am doing this over the summer so I can adjust before work starts again.

Omg.....soo happened! Our apt is all set, but Tom wont move in yet...i think hes procrastinating....lol....its crazy...and fun at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!

ITS A GOOD FEELING!! I MOVED INTO AN APARTMENT WITH MY FIANCE ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO AND NOW WE MOVED INTO AN APARTMENT THATS AS HUGE AS A HOUSE. WHEN I PICKED UP THE KEYS AND WALKED IN I WAS EMOTIONAL YET ESXCITED, I REALIZED MY LIFE WAS CHANGING MORE THAN EVER NOW.... ITS A GOOD FEELING BUT EMOTIONAL BC OUR LIVES ARE CHANGING... YOU WILL SEE AND WITH ALL THE SHOWER GIFTS YOU GET TO UNPACK IN THE NEW HOME YOU WILL LOVE IT MORE HEHE

I feel the same way. I just got a new job in Jersey so I just moved into 'our' apartment a few weeks ago. I miss my parent's house so much and my routine. I started filling up the apartment with my stuff but home still feels like my parent's house. plus i'm lonely. I miss the comfort of my parent's house. after our wedding in sept, when FH moves in, I hope it will feel a lot more like our home.

A little sad but happy about finally having my own place.

I helped FH move all his stuff in on wednesday and he asked me yesterday when I am moving in.... when I told him after the wedding he got pissed. I never once eluded that it would be a moment sooner, I have way too much else to do, then to pack all my crap and move AGAIN!
