about completely changing the centerpieces and it really didn't go over too well. She came out real nasty and said something like 'Well....since it is really your fiance's decision, then perhaps we should wait until he is available. When she said that with that nasty attitude, I felt like i wanted to jump across her desk and slap her. I told her that i am going to ignore that comment for her benefit and told her for the record, it is both our decisions...not only his. I had asked her why did you feel the need to come out your mouth like that. She was like 'Oh i didn't mean it like that, i just meant that I want to get both of your opinions.' So i had brushed it off and I had asked her to show me some alternative flowers. So we kind of gottan back on track after that and she gave me a bouquet to show me what type of flowers would be included in the centerpiece (see pictures). Its a miniture sample of how the centerpieces would look. The centerpiece would have much more flowers, so this is really just a bouquet version of the centerpiece. The third picture would be the shape of the centerpiece.
I am kind of happy that i am going to see a sample of the other florist centerpiece (Apr. 25th) because after the way this woman had acted, i am not too sure about this florist anymore. So how do you like these types of flowers compared to the centerpieces in my photo album:
UPDATE:
Last week, i went to see the new florist's sameple , Diana Gould Ltd, with FH and his mother. They absolutely fell in love with the sample. I really liked it alot myself but i wanted to give the first florist (the one with the smart comment) a second chance. Well a couple of days ago, mother, FH and I went to the old florist to see the revised centerpiece. It was nice but not as nice as the new florist. My FH said that he detected an attitude from old florist and that she was acting as if she didn't want to be bothered. I had asked her a couple of questions about adding some height to the centerpieces but she kept saying that she is unable to do that with these flowers. I had also asked why the colors look so different compared to the one she had given me to take home and she made up some dumb excuse. The mango calli lillies that she had showed us, which are for the MOH bouquet, look very weak and the color doesn't match the persimmon color dress at all. So we made up our mind and are now going with Diana Gould. Amazingly, Diana's prices are cheaper compared to the old florist, Arcadia. The centerpiece is $15 cheaper. If I had known that before, i would have checked them out before going to Arcadia. So many people have told me that Arcadia is cheaper but i guess it really depends on the flowers. I had lost out on my $500 deposit, they said they can not give me a partial refund or do the bouquets. I would never recommend them to anyone. See below for Aracadia's revised centerpiece.
