so it's scary to find out we had an attempted break in...

some time before i came home for lunch. my key wouldn't work in either lock and i didn't think twice. i even was posting on here!

i got back to work late after lunch and explained why i was late and someone mentioned maybe that's what happened.

i called Fh and told him what happened so he called the landlord in which called the cops and went home. Well, the cops left to go on a call a block away due to an attempted break in.

all i keep thinking is that a.) my badboy Brooklyn scared them away (cat) and b.) is all my wedding sh*t still there? it's strewn everywhere when you walk in . w t f is wrong with me?

obviously the 1st thing the robbers will go after is ur wedding stuff Alyssa. bridal robbers are everywhere these days!

so happy they werent able to get in and that all is safe

They probably saw all the wedding stuff and knew there was nothing to steal because they are broke. They probably rsvp'd though.

they actually did catch the guy....trying to break in a house the next block over.

i seriously thought FH was being way to paranoid and i was going crazy about the door with my key but i guess it's real. it is scary

just a side note, the cops came in without us home (landlord let them in) and i have a huge bag of laundry waiting to be taken to laundromat. they knocked it over and all my undies spilled out. i'm sure they had a good laugh along with opening my closet and finding even MORE wedding stuff!
