so kinda weird my sil is preggo

she also got engaged the day after I did now preggo a couple of days later Im def happy and I want her to be happy but its a little weird dont you think.

Is she husband's brother's wife or husband's sis? Or is she on your side of the family? Unless she knew you guys were trying, the pregnancy thing was hard to plan for but the engagement I think is a little weird. Sounds like someone got jealous/upset and didn't want to be 'left' out or whatever. If she knew you were trying then I would say she's definitely trying to ride your coat tails....

she is husbands brothers wife and she knew we were trying and she knew I was getting engaged long before I was, she didnt even ehat to get married yet and I dont beleive that she wanted to be preggo either her dh did. She isnt that happy.

Yeah, sounds about right. Too bad people are too preoccupied w/one upping people they can't just pave their own path in life. Meanwhile the choices she's making just to have the upper hand might be choices she will later regret (not Mr. Right, resenting the baby, etc.). I had a friend similiar to that as well as my husband's brother's wife (what is up w/that?). Had to buy a bigger house after we bought ours, etc. I wouldn't let it stress you too much. Maybe she'll have the boy and you'll have the girl or vice-versa, so each baby will have it's unique place in the family instead of being caught up in the b.s. competition.

My husbands ex-best friend has always been jealous of my husband. His friends mom told us. Over the years he has done things just because we have. He went to Computer school because my DH did (He didn't care for it), he had to have a relationship because we did. Well, he actually had LOTS of relationships, we got married, then he did, we had a baby, now he has a baby. The sad part of it all is that my DH and I got married and had baby because we love each other, etc., he didn't! his relationship is terrible with his now wife. It was the most miserable wedding I've ever been too, they looked upset the whole time, and then they have a baby, and she didn't even want another one, and I don't think she does now! She told everyone that if her husband wants a baby he can go elsewhere! She's a real winner, let me tell ya!!! Anyway, I know how you feel!
