The longer-addicted LIW'ers are feeling lost....from what I gather from other posts and from what I'm thinking......so many new people, not enough names to go with faces!! well, i' m not really NEW, but compared to most 08ers i am, and i didn't really post until now. and i thought 74 posts was a lot, till i checked out some of you other girls.
i am katleigh3's MOH, and she's mine. i'm sure you all know her, she lives on the boards. you guys got to see her favors and place card holders before i did!
ummmm about me? i'm 30 years OLD. i work as a graphic designer, a waitress, and a mechanic shop's receptionist. i take grad classes at hofstra toward my teaching certificate in Art. i live with FH in an apt in patchogue that we can't wait to move out of.....we have delusional plans of buying a house a month before our wedding (when our lease is up)...... i am a fantastic procrastinator (the opposite of my neurotic, organized and totally planned MOH)....that said, my wedding is june 6, and all i have booked is the hall and the DJ. before you all have mini heart attacks in my honor, i DO have a photographer picked out, we just have to meet with him again and try to talk $$. He promised to let me know if anyone with my date wants to book. Kat has put me on a dress deadline. (just started shopping in the last 2 weeks) so i have until this thurs, nov 1, to make a decision and order it.
my avitar is dumb, but there was a thread somewhere about not trusting ppl without avitars, so i just added one real quick....although i do love music and peace, so i guess it's not that bad. lol

Hi girls! Im Rachel, my FH is Donald... I am 22 and he is 24. We have been together since Nov. 2005, been engaged since Dec.. 2005, and got pregnant in Jan. 2006.. Yes it all happened fast but we've known each other for 10 years and when its right, its right!!! We have a beautiful little girl named Gabriella, who just turned 1 in Sept. (see my pictures, gotta love her!!!) Anyways... We are both from Shirley... And Im addicted to this website!!!! Ive learned alot on here and I think its driving my FH nuts with everything I keep getting ideas for hahaha! Look forward to getting to know you all...

This is so weird, b/c I remember being the new person and not knowing who anyone was... and I'd look at the girls who were on longer than ME and thought, 'wow they all know eachother by name!' I never thought it would happen for me, but now I'm one of those old people! Crazy. Welcome to all!!

Hi everyone! I'm not really new here either, but I've never formally introduced myself. My name is Michelle (29) and my fiance's name is Mike (31). We met at Culinary school back in 2001 - so we are both chefs - and got engaged back in May '07. We've been doing the long distance thing, since he's from NJ, but I'm FINALLY moving out there in 2 weeks! I grew up in Massapequa and work in Huntington at Honu kitchen and cocktails (aka - Blue Honu). I always used to say I could never sit at a desk all day, but now I wish I could chat during work or at least at a normal hour.

Hello All... i have introduced myself b/4, but I will again.... i was originally an 09er back when i first got engaged in June.... but as of Oct 11, i became an 08er and could not be happier!!!!

Never formally introduced myself... I'm 25 and getting married in October '08. FH and I met in 1996 at a track meet in HS, dated on and off throughout HS and remained friends. We then started dating long distance during grad school and moved in together in January '07. He popped the question in July (and I tell everyone it took him almost 11 years to propose).
We're planning this long distance--we live in North Carolina with our two cats (the ones in my picture). My mom is helping out a lot since we're so far and she's probably reading this...she lurks on these boards more than I do. Hi Mom!

Hi Guys.... I introduced myself before, but here it goes!
Got engaged in July, didnt become obsessed with LIW till about the end of august maybe? sept? well whatever now i'm hooked and fh is prob regretting his proposal cause he thinks i have a serious problem!
Getting married sept 27th 08 on our fifth year anniversary... fh is from california, we met in San Francisco... stole him away and he moved here to ny to be with me....
love the 08 girls.. always making work totally unproductive... oh and super helpful....
PS- keep up the squirrel jokes., freakin hysterical.. hee hee

Technically we are not a LI W couple since we are getting married at the Greentree Country Club in Westchester BUT I use this site extensively (sp?)... whenever I am dealing with a question or need vendor help I log on cause you girls just know it all!!!
