I agree on a Friday or Saturday night-you will be waiting forever to get into the Cheesecake Factory. We went to Ciao Baby once-the food stunk, waitress was rude, and it was way to crowded-we have never gone back. I would try Sweetwaters or H2O in Smithtown.

You can try Nick DiAngelos in Long Beach, family style italian. I know my friend went to Don Juan's to start her bachelorette party, it is in Westbury. Also you can try the Nautical Mile there are a bunch of resteraunts. We started my bachelorette party at Starfish in Merrick and they were awesome! They allowed my bridesmaids to pick out a prix fixed menu and the food was amazing!

I might have replied to you on 07 boards already, but I'll rave again. 'La Famiglia' in Smithtown has DELICIOUS italian food!!! It is all family style and the prices are reasonable. Make a reservation though because they have a lot of large parties on the weekend.

Cafe Toscana in Jericho great food, fab decor (very manhattanish) Italian

Hunan Taste, Greenvale - Fine Chinese

Sagamore Syosset, Hip steakhouse

H2O in smithtown has the best Martini, but if you have anyone that doesn't eat steak or fish they'll leave hungry (I did)
