and we still have about 46 RSVPs that we did not get. I was thinking giving everyone until the 16th but after that should I make phone calls??
I was thinking just giving my mom a list (of her people) and FMIL a list (of her people) and have them call......

Sounds perfect. Just make sure you have time to get things organized for your own sake so your not stressing .

thats a good idea. also if any of the people are ur friends and u feel comfortable calling them, maybe you can take care of them.

Re: So my RSVP date is Jan 10th
I am in the same boat. My RSVP date is 1/17/07 and I only have 64 response cards back out of 141 invitations sent out........what is that! I dont get it! When you get the invitation send it back, you know if you are going to go or not! And its a self-addressed envleope! I dont get it!!
This is what I intend to do. Same as you- my responses will be due March 10th. They have until the 16th to respond. I have to make programs, menus, and all the other fun stuff. So when the 17th of March comes I am making calls and telling them that if I do not hear from them via email, phone, parcel post, donkey, or whatever by the 20th I am going to put them down as a no bc the Reception Hall needs a headcount.
I have many things to do and i'm not worrying about who is coming and who is not. I know it sounds mean but I think a month to RSVP is plenty of time.
