... and hardly anything is bought from my registry! I know it's still early, but I think of myself and I always buy the gifts as soon as I get the invite! I just hope by the time of my shower, FH and I have flatware and bedding!

Mine is a week and a half, and not much has disappeared off it since the invites went out. I'm assuming that people will shop at the last minute

Don't worry...weekends are big. I work at Williams-Sonoma and a few weeks before some people buy but it's the weekends right before that people buy most. Don't worry!!! You'll get it and you're shower will be wonderful!!!!

most gifts are purchased with in the week before and right before the shower. Stuff just disapears at that point.

TRUST me dont worry at all. First, i am a person who waits until the week of the shower. BUT before my shower i kept thinking the same thing, i was like WOW things were bought but not alot. The weekend before my shower things were flying off. WHen i got to my shower i was shocked how many gifts there were, the gift section was packed. There were also things that didnt come off my registry, not sure if my guests forgot to give the salesperson my registry to take it off or if there was an error at the store when they rang it up.

I'm feeling the same way. I am lucky if I get a wooden spoon
