I wouldnt stress over it. My wedding is on a Sunday as well and starts at 4pm (CH), 5:30 (Ceremony) and 6:00-12 party. I am sure people may leave but those that love you, will stay till the very end party with you :)

The people that matter most to you will want to spend your special day with you, whether your reception ends at 11:30 pm or 2am on a Sunday! If it was a good friend of mine, I sure would want to stay and party with them!

But if you are really worried, I agree with the others about skipping the receiving line!

I would stay just because I care and also I am a late night person and don't work early but if I were you I don't think I would make it any later. I guess you guys are against taking pics ahead of time?? Also I don't think the beach will be crowded late September. HTH

Ok dont freak out!!!

here a few tips

one: SKIP the receiving line like everyone else suggested

two: try to take as many pics as possible BEFORE the ceremony, like allll your family pics, your bp pics( i know ur bp is small but still) , pics of you alone - trust me this alone can take an hour or two hours even if its not that many people

three: you can take pics at the beach, your wedding is 9.25, i highly doubt the beach will be crowded that far into september

four: keep the time the way it is, i personally would stay for the entire wedding for a friend, but the old people might not

and if its really important for you not to take pics with FH before the ceremony then you have to compromise somehow, and you will have to compromise with missing a portion of your CH

I think if you and FH, separately take as many pics as possible before you see each other that will eliminate a lot of time...and you will have an hour or two between church and RH to get pics of just you two!

FH was VERY against seeing me before the ceremony - but was not willing to give up CH....it has to give somewhere....I know it's not really a tradition with Jewish families to not see each other - (FH is Catholic) we usually take pictures before ceremony but do a mini ceremony where FH will turn around and see me for the first time - photographers will catch this all - I know you want the drama of FH seeing you for the first time coming down the isle - but sometimes you have to compromise - your guests will have the honor of seeing you for the first time...if you want to be there for the CH - which goes VERY quickly I would put this aside and do the pics before ceremony - V something's gotta give or else you'll drive yourself crazy!!!!!

agree w/ this ...have the photographer grab you and say he needs u for pics...sneak out the back...im doing this and seeing everyone at cocktail...but at the same time im pretty sure your guests are spanish and you know spanish people dont care about time...they dont leave until the booze is done! dont stress it...i would stay til the end!

Yes I know... Thanks chica but unfortunately, I guess I have to drive myself crazy, there is just NO WAY we will see each other before the Ceremony. We are both agains it.. its not tha tI am the only one against it, but FH too...
We want to follow this tradition....

Personally, I feel 11:30 is not late for a wedding to be ending, even if on a Sunday. My wedding is a Friday night, but it ends at 1am - I'm totally scared that people are going to leave early - So we are doing cake at like 12! I figure most people are AT LEAST going to stay til the cake and coffee is served. ...

To make a long story short, I think you should be ok. Try not to stress too much. Everything about your wedding will be FABULOUS!!

scr E w everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!! you know how many days I have taken off the next day for ppls wweddings?? Well now it's your turn... my wedding's on a thurs night and even though veterans day is Friday, not EVERYONE has off-- so I say 'Take a freakkkkin dayyyyyyyy!!!!!! This is the only thing I'll ever ask of u!!!' And everyone has agreed!!!!
