FH was VERY against seeing me before the ceremony - but was not willing to give up CH....it has to give somewhere....I know it's not really a tradition with Jewish families to not see each other - (FH is Catholic) we usually take pictures before ceremony but do a mini ceremony where FH will turn around and see me for the first time - photographers will catch this all - I know you want the drama of FH seeing you for the first time coming down the isle - but sometimes you have to compromise - your guests will have the honor of seeing you for the first time...if you want to be there for the CH - which goes VERY quickly I would put this aside and do the pics before ceremony - V something's gotta give or else you'll drive yourself crazy!!!!!

Yes I know... Thanks chica but unfortunately, I guess I have to drive myself crazy, there is just NO WAY we will see each other before the Ceremony. We are both agains it.. its not tha tI am the only one against it, but FH too...
We want to follow this tradition....

Yea, we booked with a Viennese hour, and then pushed everything an hour later so Pastor April would be available to marry us. But I think of it this way - we dont have to go nuts with an afterparty this way! We can all just go back to the hotel and chill out in the suite!

If you end up getting a lot of people leaving early, call me and I will come eat some cake!

Keep the time line you have, simply take out the receiving line.
You are going way ahead of yourself. Don't stress it out. Trust me you will have enough pictures.

We have the same exact gap on Saturday, 2:30 ceremony, 5:30 CH. the day before you.. If we're a little late to RH, too bad. IT's not going to start without us.

The day will go as the day will go. Too bad. People may have to wait a little bit.

How far away do people live? How far will most of them have to drive home after the reception?

I'm having a Sunday wedding..get this 4:30 ceremony!!!

6:30CH 8-12 reception.

I think the most important people will stay. I also sent out STDs and sent out my invitations early so people have plenty of time to take the next day off.

Also, are all of your guests 90? 11pm is not that late, exp if they don't have to drive more than an hour to get home. I wouldn't worry.

I don't think the beach would be crowded at all , esp late afternoon so late in Sept BUT I would choose Hall's Pond park since it is close to the RH so you have more time to get the pics you want and spend less time travelling IMO.

I would not skip the receiving line AND skip the CH, since that will drastically cut down on the opportunities you'll have to greet each guest, but it might be ok since you mentioned you are having a small wedding, so it will be easier.

I know this is a personal choice but I prefer pictures over a receiving line and I changed mine from a mass to a ceremony. ...def allows more time with pictures
