I feel awful but don't really want to go to the wake. Is that horrible. I can do old people, but she was 21. I don't think I can handle it at all. There are five daughters and I have taught 3 of them......I am so sad today.

I went to the wake and it was the hardest thing I have ever done. There was so much saddness it was overwhelming. I am glad that I went to support my students. The family is so very nice and now there is this immense loss for them!

I gotta say, a teacher/student relationship is one of the best relationships. My former latin teacher passed away, and it was heart wrenching. I was so close with her, and there was so many kids at her funeral. I am glad I went though..I know I would have regreted NOT going.. I'm sorry for your loss :(
