Maybe the RH can wrap up the extra meals for you and FH?? At least then its not a total loss and you won't have to cook for a couple of days!!

I totally feel your pain, the day after I gave my final number and had the check cut from the bank 2 people backed out from coming. It didn't really bother me, so we invited 2 more people because we were going to be paying anyway. Then on the wedding day, 10 people did no-shows that we didn't know about until we were sitting down for dinner and looking around the room

i'm sorry! people have no idea the kind of money required for even 1 person to attend a wedding! that's so annoying

eta: maybe they will throw in an extra station or some extra passed hors d'oeuvres since you're paying $600 extra?
