so pissed off today! VERY LONG

so i walk into work to day to find a voicemail on my phone ...of two people that i work with ( one being one of my BM's) talking about me !
i guess they didnt hang up the phone correctly after one of them called me/ so i went to one of them and joked around about how i heard this and how if they are calling my 'her highness' then i should be getting paid a lot more if i am royalty! lol i was totally not bothered by the situation i just figured that they should know i heard their conversation. so then the other ones goes...Kim if you have a problem with me say it to my face ...i told her to grow up and stop talking about me she proceeded to try to push me out of the room by slamming me with the door!!!!!!!!! she was cursing at me and calling me a little gitl...meanwhile all i have done is help her since she has started here. now i am the type of person that if u put ur hand or anything on me i flip! somehow i kept my cool ...but now i know that she is trying to get me in trouble...i just want a new job and i am applying everywhere but am having no LUCK!
i knw it was the girl that is my BM telling her something i said which probably isnt true
also i want that BM out of my wedding so bad ...all she does is talk about me because i know for a fact that she is jealous of me becasue i am getting married and i moved up in the company.
i cannot even begin to tell u how many problems she has caused me !

what the heck am i gonna do girls???
i cannot work like this anymore!

OMG THATS HORRIBLE!

first of all, i would have been heartbroken - and you didnt even get crazy about it you seemed to handle it very well - since the girl really overreacted i think she was probably really embarassed AND that is probably the tip of the iceberg! they both sound so jealous - i mean my friends and i gossip but you are supposed to be somewhat mature in a work environment!!!!!

ugh you are doing the right thing by looking for a new job, make sure you mention to your boss that these girls may try to pull something ( only if you are close to him/her) and distance yourself from both of them

if they realize how stupid they were maybe they will change their ways!

i work in a pretty relaxed work environment but i could never imagine someone slamming a door or cursing about a personal matter - that is unacceptable!

That is so crappy. I would be so upset and I would absolutly tell her that she is not invited to the wedding. I would not want someone in my wedding party that talks bad about me.

I work for citigroup in the city. Not sure exactly what you are looking for but I know we are hiring for a few things if you would like to send me your resume. I can at least get it to the right ppl.

Kim... I can't even begin to comment on the behavior of your co-workers! I'm truly disgusted! WHO DOES THAT?! As far as the girl who is your BM... kick her out. She clearly has no problem hurting your feelings, than why should you care about hurting her's.
It sounds like you work in a separate area than these people, so I wouldn't even worry about tension between them while you're working.... besides you're on the hunt for something better!!!

No - I don't think so. I've learned this the hard way.

My boss definitely thought it made me seem weak when I would come to her with a personal conflict (however, we didn't have an HR person...so I didn't know who to turn to...). Obviously she never said that I was weak, but she was obviously disappointed that I couldn't handle the conflict by myself.

(Side note: The girl was a raging b*tch and no one could deal with her. I was the first to speak up about it.)

If she causes lots of drama in the office I'd consider saying something to your boss, but again, think about your bosses reaction. It's not work related - its personal...

It's touchy and depends on your boss.

So sorry you had to go through that Kim! I'm glad you didn't hesitate to let them know that you'd heard everything! She was embarrassed and shamed! ...and good for you for keeping your cool.

As for the cursing and name calling, that was SO uncalled for! She definitely doesn't deserve an invitation. If I understood correctly though... your BM wasn't in the room when you were speaking to the other girl... talk to your BM about everything and see what she has to say! You seem like such a sweet girl.. people can be so ridiculous! Sounds like jealousy for sure!

Anyway, I'm sure you're trying to forget about the whole thing so yea.. like the other Kim said... do some more surfing and enjoy the rest of your day. Don't let the idiot get to ya! You're way better than all of that!
