My mom just called and I just got the saddest response - my great grandmother isn't coming to my wedding. I was so excited for her to come as her daughter (my grandmother) passed away a few years ago.
I understand that she is 101 (yes 101 years old!!!) and its probably too much but I was getting her a special bouquet and was looking forward to having her in the family pics.
Oh well I'm going to make it a point to see her this weekend and show her some pics of me in my dress and pictures of FH.

I'm so sorry to hear that Lori but that's a great suggestion- go to her place in your dress another day. I am sure that would make her thrilled!
