so sad and upset...

i was planning on visiting my RH this wknd and booked my date and i just found out that someone took my date last weekend!!!!

i'm sorry your date was booked, but hopefully you'll soon be happy about that

my original date was booked 15 minutes before i walked into the RH .... it actually worked out better in the end and i'm much happier with my new date

aww im sorry - but i kinda had the same thing, my date was orignally booked and we were willing to switch it to have it at our RH.

Some times moving the date really works out in the end!

same thing happen to me when we were tossing dates around... i feel like everytime i pick a head, the BM was a break record player ' That date is taken... That date is taken... ooo that date is also taken'....

its okay - everything will work out for you! no matter what date you choose - you are still getting married!!

Oh no! That happened to me at my RH. I wanted a saturday in June originally but all the saturdays were taken already (thanks HoopsandYoyo! ) but it worked out because Sunday minimums were lower and we have a small guest list so we took a sunday in June instead.

Don't worry! Just pick a new date and quick! Seeing the dates were already booked in 2011 really made me hustle my butt!

the weekend before is memorial weekend, so no one will even be around to attend my wedding and the weekend after would be the same weekend my coworker is having her wedding.

what are your thoughts. if a coworker of yours is having her wedding at the same venue the day before, would you feel odd?

i really haven't figured all of that out yet. we don't hang in the same crowds, so probably not.

it's odd b/c she got engaged after me and i had a late start in planning it... so i feel like i'm just standing in her shadow - if that makes any sense at all..

i'm super bummed.....this situation actually brought me to tears...

everything works out for a reason :) just stay positive and look at the bright side.

maybe it could be an extra 2 or 3 weeks you dont have to wait to get married :)

that happened to me last year and I was so upset over it. In all honestly, it was better we waited to get some bills out of the way before starting planning again. You'll pick a different date and everything will be perfect for your day!

i have limited choices left. my mother wants me to be a june bride (chinese superstitions.. and since she wont be present there, i want to honor her one wish)

the other 2 weekends left is the day after my colleagues wedding and then the next sunday is fathers day!

could my life get any worse?

i feel so discouraged now. i feel like all the progress i was making has disappeared and now i've lost all motivation into doing this anymore.

it might be a nice gesture for you to 'honor' your father since he won't be able to make it to your wedding
