can you ladies please tell me what you are having people toss at you after your ceremony??? I was thinking of having bubbles but everyone i tell that to thinks its dumb then i was thinking some sort of confetti or environmentally friendly rice.....i dont know, this little thing is really driving me crazy....TIA for your ideas

we are getting married at the rh so we arent having anything tossed at us...

i think the bubbles sound cute though!

i forgot to ask if the church had any restrictions on this stuff. my aunt has tons & tons of bubbles left over from my cousins wedding, i am just concerned about them staining my dress. i may do bird seed too.

When I was in my aunt's wedding she did bubbles. They stained her dress, which you couldn't really see unless you were looking for it. However, it made a MESS of the BM dresses. They were all clearly stained and we had to try to get the soap out in the bathroom of the RH. I'd just be careful of bubbles for that reason.

I was going to do birdseed, but I like the petal idea too.

i absolutely hate this whole thing about stuff to throw...

cuz my church basically only allows bubbles also, cuz there is a mass at 5:00 and they don't want the parishoners possibly slipping on anything that was thrown...

BUT IM SO TRADITIONAL I WANT TO THROW BIRD FRIENDLY RICE!!!!!!!!!!!! or whatever the stuff is...

i think im gonna post on BHB asking brides who got married at my church what they did...

my church only allows bubbles...I dont like the idea of bubbles bc what if its windy that day, or if it stains your dress, but thats just me. I will be doing ribbon wands

We'll probably go with bubbles - our church pretty much doesn't allow anything else (I wanted rose petals - but the church gave a huge no on that one) But - the bubbles come out real cute in pictures!

Nooo bubbles, I heard that stains the dress material. Im doing the traditional rice throwing smack in the face, lol and petals.

i was at a wedding where they gave out little bells for everyone to ring when the bride and groom came out of the church...but they never told ppl what they were for so like no one rang them....the idea was really cute, just not executed well

My cousin had butterflies, but F that, I'm scared to death of bugs and the last thing I need is a pack of butterflies flying right into my face. My priest suggested 'Grass Seeds' I don't even know what a grass seed looks like haha

We can only have birdseed at my church yeah I dont think I want to be picking seeds out of my hair all night. I want bubbles but the church says they stain the gold doors . If I get a DOC maybe I can convience them for petals or something if I can get them to clean up

grass seeds???? they arent even hard like other seeds...that would be a messy disaster
