So someone called my hall to see if they knew my wedding was cancelled?

I'm really just in shock right now and only one person comes to mind who would do this....

FMIL.

Yes she doesn't know that we booked but I'm starting to think someone told her or she some how found out.

I got a call from my BM asking if my wedding was still on. Of course I am in shock and tell him it is and why is he asking. He says that someone called asking for a manager and when he called them back they asked him if our wedding was still on because they wee hearing we called it off. He of course said they have information for htem right now and the best course of action is for them to contact the couple.

He did give me the phone # that he called back but it's an unlisted number and I do not recognize it. It could be a number at his mother's job or a cell phone of her friends.... I don't know.

Well we verbally agreed on the phone that my wedding is not cancelled unless I come down there in person to do so myself. He's making a note in my folder that no changes are to be made except by me in person. Absurd!

I was litterally getting tears in my eyes. I don't think I should even tell FH cause this will only start trouble when I don't know for sure (although I'm almost certain it was FMIL).

And still with all this time before the wedding I can only wonder what else she will try to sabotage

OMG I am so sorry for you... but you should tell FH but dont tell him that you assume is his mom, just that someone call the RH and you dont know what to think.. GL with FMIL

I would call that number back blocked and find out who answers.. you could even pretend to be calling them back from the RH.. I would have them under lock and key .. Its sad that you have to do that.. I would hide any other vendors you have picked out.. for all you know they could be lurking on here watching everything that you are saying.. (I have my own FIL drama) and I wouldnt post it on here.. people are crazy.. sorry you have to deal with this...

i could totally understand you i would be upset too i can't image why would someone do something like this is just horrific don't worry things will get better keep calling the number!!! don't give up!

OMG that is crazy, I'm sooo sorry. I would definitely tell FH, this way he knows whats going on, that is just nuts.

If she did get the information I know it wasn't here. The woman can barely operate a computer. All she knows to do it check her email (if you show her how) and play solitare. I'm think she got someone to give her info. The only people that know we are booked though is me, FH & my family. NO ONE in his family knows yet. I wonder if she is just taking stabs in the dark at halls we mentioned to see if we did book..... I don't know what to think but I'm going to keep trying this number later and is all else fails I will do that paid report just for my own peace of mind.
