FH and i went to get our marriage license. it was the quickest, easiest experience out of this entire process. i was a giddy, giggling fool the whole time though because i was excited. anyway, another couple came in after us and were waiting to get their marriage license and i said to FH, 'oh i wonder if she's an LIW'er - i'm going to post later and see if anyone was at the islip town hall on main street around 10'ish'. so when we were leaving, he asks me if while we sit on the computer, on this site - if we have to wear black gowns and chant something. he totally thinks this is a cult i started laughing and was like 'wait til i post that!' FH just anyway, yay me on getting our marriage license. one more things off my list!!
It wasn't me but I do have to go to the Town of Islip soon for the marriage license. I know there is two of them. Which one did you go to. The big building one or the one with the circular driveway? TIA!

the town clerk's office is temporarily located kind of behind the big building... 40 nassau ave. you walk in and there's a door that says 'marriage license'. it took 10 min. you just need both of your birth certificates or passports and a driver's license for each of you and know your ss#. 40 bux cash or check.
